A FREE transit option is coming!

THE INCREDIBLE CORRIDOR IS DESIGNED TO FILL IN TRANSIT GAPS AND HELP EMPLOYEES GET TO THEIR JOBS IN GWINNETT AND DEKALB COUNTIES.

When initially planned, the Incredible Corridor was designed to fill in transit gaps and provide relief for rising gas prices to employees with jobs along Jimmy Carter Boulevard and Mountain Industrial Boulevard. Since 2021, the rise of economic uncertainty has deemed that we postpone the launch of the free shuttle until 2023. Please check this website for updates at the beginning of 2023.

What is the Incredible Corridor?

The Incredible Corridor is a 17.5-mile stretch of road from Jimmy Carter Boulevard in Gwinnett County to Mountain Industrial Boulevard in DeKalb County. With limited transit options currently available along this specific route, two Community Improvement Districts – Tucker Summit in DeKalb County and Gateway85 in Gwinnett County - decided to study the feasibility of creating a specific transit line to help get more than 15,000 potential workers to their jobs more easily.

Beginning this fall, a new free transit option will launch to help hundreds of workers get to their jobs more easily. The transit line will be the first in the state that has been planned and launched by two cooperating Community Improvement Districts.

The transit line will include four free-to-ride 25-person buses that will run during peak shift changes every 30 minutes to start. Click here to see the route. The route, which will begin and end at the Doraville MARTA station, is currently being finalized.
